Your comments are great Tom, thanks. I do agree that adventure can be a great energiser - the slightly unexpected, irrational, and sometimes even insane can be exhilarating. Looking for these, rather then avoiding them, can make you feel alive in every fibre of your being.

Dear Marion,

Excellent list. You made me smile.

I would add adventure, as in "doing things that could possible go terribly wrong". I love to speak in public without being totally prepared. The possibility of having a total blackout is actually quite an energy booster.

Oh, and climbing a steep hill with my racebike.

And that one party with the right people and the right music where you let rationality take a little nap and you totally go for the transcendental experience of becoming one with the beat.

On an intellectual level, I would pick that moment of insight that arises from matching conceptual frameworks with a customer challenge. Suddenly an interesting and workable insight arises upon which a marketing strategy could be build. That process of matching and the emerging of that moment of insight... priceless.

And finallly that strange exciting great vibe that very once in a while arises between people, where the unsaid is constantly being said in an unspoken kind of way. :-)
